Setting up a new site with CyberSharks
Here we will lay out a step by step process of setting up a new website.
  1. The first step in setting up a new website is picking a domain name . You can check the availability of a domain name by going to http://www.checkdomain.com/.
  2. Next you will need to pick a hosting package.  We offer personal, business and extreme hosting plans, as well as enterprise server plans depending on your needs.
  3. CyberSharks can help you design or program your website.  Contact our Sales Team for a quote.
  4. Once you have placed your order the domain name needs to be pointed to CyberSharks.
    • If you asked CyberSharks to purchase the domain name, we will take care of this step for you.
    • If you will be purchasing your domain name elsewhere or have already purchased your domain name, you will need to contact your registrar.  They can walk you through changing the name servers to the following.
      NS.CYBERSHARKS.NET
      NS2.CYBERSHARKS.NET
  5. After the order has been processed, and the name servers have been changed, you will be sent an email with the login information to our control panel where you can start setting up email accounts, changing FTP and FrontPage/Expression Web passwords, and managing your database.
  6. Congratulations, your website should now be online!
