Setup an existing site with CyberSharks
Here we will lay out the step by step process of transferring an existing website to us.
  1. The first step will be to pick a hosting package. We offer personal, business and extreme hosting plans, as well as enterprise server plans depending on your needs.
  2. Your current website host will need to supply you with your current account information. Information may include, but is not limited to, website files, databases, SSL, and any third-party software. Send any information you receive to your sales representative.
  3. CyberSharks can help you design or program your website. Contact our Sales Team for a quote.
  4. After your order has been processed, the current website will need to be uploaded and tested for errors.
  5. Once setup and testing are complete, the domain name needs to be pointed to CyberSharks. Contact our Support Team for help deciding what is best for your domain name.
    • If you purchased your domain name yourself, you will need to contact your registrar. They can walk you through changing the name servers to the following.
      NS.CYBERSHARKS.NET
      NS2.CYBERSHARKS.NET
    • If you purchased your domain name through another company, you will more than likely need to transfer your domain name to either CyberSharks or another registrar.
    • In some cases, it is not necessary to change the name servers. In these situations a few changes to the current name server will be required.
  6. Congratulations, your website should now be online!
